A cry of help

How does one prepare for having #2?!
I am completely stuck right now both physically and mentally to prepare for Aubrey to come in 7 weeks!! CRAZY

I am currently still working on her bedroom so nothing is finished. The dresser is torn apart getting repainted, the crib is in the same state as the dresser, her clothes are still in Brooklyn's closet packed away, and we are still no where near ready for this little girl to come! Besides the furniture at a stand still for the moment, so is finding fabric to do the bedding and curtains. I've stopped all bow making because let's be honest I am burnt out of that. I still have to decorate her room once I get everything else done, whenever that will be...

That's the physically not ready, mentally is about half ready. Wait, now it's about 25% ready. I am worried about how Brookie will handle it all. She is such a Momma's girl, not that I promote that in any way, she just is. How will she do when her sister comes and takes up most of my attention?! What kind of fits are we looking at because she has pretty good ones on her own right now! Then, how will I do?! Will I go crazy? Will the house be more of a wreck than it is right now with just 3 of us? Will I keep up with everything?

The questions go on and on, and I am hoping that in the next few weeks I will feel more ready for this girl to come to our home. Clark says he is ready but then again he isn't the one having to do everything once she gets here ;)
{love you honey but it's true}.

How do you prepare for #2?!

The Beach

Saturday we went to the Beach. Brookie loved running away from the water and enjoyed playing in the sand. We made sand castles and soaked up the sun! Like I said before hopefully I can get some of the pictures Ashley took because they are SO good.

This girl fits into Cali perfectly, personality and all!

We then headed home in the afternoon, so a short trip but fun filled!! Thanks again Dad and Meagan, loved spending time with you!

San Diego

So 3 days after we got back from St. Johns Brooklyn and I were able to bum a ride off My Dad and Sister to go to California for the weekend. Ashley and Chad drove their car too so it was a small Farmer family trip together. Brookie loved spending time with the cousins and family she doesn't see all the time like Meagan and Papa Farmer. The whole car ride to Cali she kept saying "TayTay's house?" I had to remind her several times that Taylor would be in Cali once we got there.
The first day we went to Sea World:

Thank you to Nana and Papa Phillips for the DVD player...it made the trip SO much easier!!

Giving the Otter a hug

Shamu's "Believe" program

She was cranky right before it started...I guess you can't expect every 2 year old to be perfect without a nap ;)

She loved the Sea Turtles!

We then got to hold starfish, she enjoyed that a lot.

The Gang during the Sea Lion show, it was probably my favorite.

Feeding the Sea Lions

I didn't get that many, she was pretty fussy that day. Thanks to Dad for getting some with my camera. I know my sister Ashley got some good ones so hopefully I can steal them :)

Brookie loved Sea World, she talks about Shamu, how the animals splashed the crowd, touching star fish, seeing the Sea Turtles, and much more. We got her some stuffed animals that she now has to sleep with at night, it's cute.

Next stop: The beach!!

Trips

Well this month has been a busy one with family coming into town and for mini trips we took. Here is pictures from our short trip to St. Johns.

We stopped by Christopher Creek on the way up to let her play in the trees. It was Brookie's first official road trip!

We enjoyed our time with Kristie and the kids while the boys golfed.

Then on the way home we stopped at the fish hatchery. Gave us a chance to stretch our legs and have some fun.

Even Dad and Meagan were enjoying feeding the fish.

Brookie is so like her Father, most pictures I get of her she is goofing off. Hence why she is like her Father, so I thought this one was so fitting...way to go Brookie!

We then let her "fish"

Brookie and Meagan...so cute!

She almost held it but the fish was still jumping so it freaked her out a little.

We had fun, thanks to Brenon and Kristie for having us. I was very happy Brooklyn did so well on the drive there and back, it gave me hope for our next trip...

Family in town

We just love it when family comes in town, both from my side and also from Clark's. This past week Clark's brother Cody came in town with his little family. We enjoyed all the time we got to spend with them. Here are some pictures from our activities:

Zoo trip:

The kids, and us adults, enjoyed feeding the giraffes. That's all Brooklyn talked about for days....erafs and snacks. {It still takes me a minute to realize she is saying giraffes}

Too cute!

Can you see the monkey?

Thanks for taking pictures Amber, I don't have any of Brookie and I because I am the one always behind the camera.

There is my 28 week pregnancy pic for ya.

This girl is such a dare devil...she wanted to jump into the pool just holding on the the noodle, not wanting any help from mommy. Of course that didn't happen.

This is when I went swimming with my phone, hence why if you have tried to get a hold of me I haven't responded...sad day. But we had fun!!

We have more pictures that I need to get off my camera...
