Aubrey Estelle

Well Aubrey went to her 9 month check up about 3 weeks ago. Everything looked good except for a couple of things. First she weighed 16 lbs 1oz, that's only 3 ounces more then she weighed at her 6 month. I told the doctor I wasn't too worried because she definitely eats and is EVERYWHERE!! This girl does not sit still, I am waiting for her to walk any day now. She stands by herself but when she realizes she wants to go somewhere she plops down and crawls. The Doctor wasn't too concerned either until we looked up her percentile. 6th percentile folks!! She is a complete opposite from Brookie, Brooklyn was off the charts on her size {ok maybe not off the charts but she definitely wasn't starving}. So we have added formula to the daily intake to hopefully help with that. We will take her back in in another week or so and weight her and hopefully we see some good change or we might have to look more into it.

Aubrey is such a happy baby. She is starting to skwak {do not know how to spell that word but don't feel any other word will describe it good enough} now and it's annoying! Her and Brookie have their moments, both good and bad. The other day Brookie crawled on the floor with her, went back into her room, and all I heard was laughter from both of them! I loved it!! On the not so much lovin part is in the car Brookie already says "Aubrey, don't look at me" and tries to put up her cover on her car seat which then makes Aubrey scream and not be so happy. I can't believe we are already in the "Don't look at me...she's looking at me..." stage!! Ugh. I hate it. But the love moments make up for the bad ones.

Aubrey is getting her 3rd tooth and going through a growth spurt. She loves food and that's always a good thing. She still does her "Lion face" and we can't get enough of it. Recently she realized the play area in the back and will go back there on her own and quietly play. I love it!! Brooklyn never did this and still mostly doesn't but it's so nice to have a child entertain themselves. If Brookie isn't back there to take away toys Aubrey will be content for a good amount of time.

What else about Aubrey?! She is waking up anywhere from 6-6:30am which is so hard for me but she goes back down for a nap after an hour or so of being up. That's when Momma lays on the couch and gets a little shut eye.

She is getting so big {and yet isn't at the same time} and we can't believe she is coming up on 10 months old!! Snapped these yesterday while the girls were playing.

She has an obsession with finding hair and getting rid of it asap...she is too funny.

Brooklyn has gotten big on this whole "good guy, bad guy" thing. She will point out who is a good guy and bad guy in all movies. She has even told me, "Mommy you not da bad guy, you da good guy".

She'd play back there for hours without any issues.

Love watching them play together...even if they really aren't playing together ;)

Catch a break

Yesterday afternoon Aubrey started breaking out into hives! We were a little worried but deep down I knew it wasn't bad enough to take her to the ER so we gave her bendaryl and watched her. The bumps were red and were covering a majority of her body. She was miserable and you could tell.

This morning I had to take Brookie to the doctor to see how her Pneumonia had cleared up so I thought I would have the doctor look at Aubrey then too. {Brookie was declared healthy, just need to get rid of that nasty cough but that will take time} Well, come to find out Aubrey didn't have hives but Eczema attack. It looks a lot worse then the diagnoses. I felt horrible for her.

These pictures don't do it justice! Really. I am just glad it was only Eczema and not hives from being allergic to any foods or medicines. {knock on wood}

Of course my girl finds time to smile during her sickness! Love this girl of mine!!

I hate when I don't post for a while. I feel like I have missed so much and since this is my journal I feel bad to my girls for not posting more. So it is catch up time.

I don't remember posting any Christmas pictures so the other week I took some pictures of Brookie playing in her Jeep that Santa brought her. She loves it and I love watching her laugh and enjoy yourself! She is really good about sharing too because she lets anyone have a turn.

The other Day when I was taking the pictures she attacked me in the jeep...it was pretty funny and she thought she was hilarious. She is getting to be such a hoot, not like she wasn't before!

I love both my girls. The other day I recorded Brookie getting Aubrey to laugh. I recorded about a minute of it but they continued for several minutes before and after!
It is now my ring tone so if I don't pick up right away it is because I am enjoying their laughter and having a debate to either pick up or continuing to listen. haha

Brookie is talking more and more and sounds pretty clear for her words. But don't get her to say Despicable Me because it is different every time she says it. She loves that movie right now.

Aubrey isn't our chunk-a-monk anymore really. She is thinning out.
She is getting into the grabbing stage and I have got to watch her when I hold her. She is scooting on the floor so I imagine it won't be too much longer before she starts getting around faster! She is growing up WAY TOO FAST!!

These 2 girls love each other and I love them! We enjoy our days together and I am so blessed to have them in my life.

Mini shoot

Yesterday I took the girls out and we had ourselves a fun little mini shoot as you might call it. It was fun. I want to make sure I am getting pictures of my girls plus we haven't been out much and I felt like we were becoming vampires! Here is pictures of our fun time.

All about our Aubrey girl: {aka Luelue}

Yesterday we had her 4 month check up when really she is almost 5 months old but hey the holidays were crazy busy so we waited.

Height 26.25 inches long {75th percentile}
Weight 15 lbs {50th percentile}
Head 16.5 inches {50th percentile}

He checked her out and she had an ear infection which was a total shock to me! To us! This girl is never unhappy, the only time she cries is when she is hungry or tired. She had been a little fussy lately but still not enough for me to notice she wasn't feeling good. And she didn't have a runny nose and she barely had a cough that came the night before her appointment.

Anyways, This girl is Heaven sent! I love how chill she is and how she is constantly smiling. Her laugh or giggle is to die for. She smiles and laughs with and at Brookie all the time. Nothing sweeter I tell you.

She is now rolling over both ways but has a little of a challenge when going from her back to her belly. But she is doing great. I think today I will go have a photo shoot with my girls!
